Gaming on Linux is an Ubuntu based channel that focuses on performance videos, comparisons between Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows, Proton compatibility, and general Linux gaming benchmarks. Suggestions are welcome to do tests for specific games.

The channel focuses on:

Performance benchmarks: Comparing frame rates and smoothness on Linux vs. Windows.
Proton testing: Running Windows games on Linux and optimizing performance.

Seeing the progress over time for specific games, along with the progress of Proton, Wine, Nvidia, Mesa and Ubuntu.

Since Ubuntu 25.04 the channel is Ubuntu exclusive. Meaning it will only use Ubuntu from now on. Other distros have demonstrated similar gaming performance but not easier out of the box experiences. Because of the diversity between distros I will stick with Ubuntu for any gaming tests and offer support for those using the latest supported versions of Ubuntu.
