I am a middle aged lefty Brit who likes video games, sci fi, fantasy and weird stuff.

And...I think about stuff too much.

I like to look at media and interrogate it for it's themes, biased and ideologies.

I like to extrapolate out how a certain game, book or TV show might be used to explain political or sociological theory...or just talk about why I have enjoyed something.

The subject of world-building is a particular favourite of mine.

What does a fictional world tell us about how it all works, and the mind and intentions of it's creator?
