About Squakenet
The home of Dos and Windows gameplays!!
Since 2014 Squakenet channel provide videos for all the old MS Dos and early Windows games (supported until Windows XP version). We want to give you some memory from the happy good old days when we spend great session of gaming with classics of the PC. Most recently we're also adding games from classic 80s and 90s consoles.
We add gameplays for old nostalgic gamers like we are recording games that run on MS Dos or Windows machines. In the past we used emulation (Dosbox and Virtualbox); in the last years, we're playing on real multiboot (MSDos/Windows 98/Windows XP) machines, upscaling via OSSC for HD resolution.
As we want to preserve their originality there is no talk-through, just plain game play and the experience you'd have playing them again! So far we've played more than 4000 different games and we're trying to add one new video every month or so.
