AMD FX-6300 6-core at 3.5 GHz, 16GB RAM (4-6GB dedicated to MC), GTX 970.
I have a huge heat sink on my CPU and decent air flow.
In Minecraft, my fps is capped at 90 (since my monitor can't display more than 60), and vsync is off. In my video card settings, I have javac.exe set to run at best performance rather than energy saving.
