About NESnostalgia
A place to share selections of excellent video game music and sound tracks, and for me and my friend to share reviews of classic game titles. This channel is necessitated by what I view to be a particular vacuity and lack of taste, perpetrated by the people who claim to provide such things.
All music is presented in 100% lossless quality. MP3 or any type of compression are never utilized. Videos are encoded at 3mbps. However, due to how youtube processes audio, you'll always get a slightly better sound quality by downloading the source files, so if you find something you enjoy, please go listen to it in its full glory.
To convert NSF or SPC (NES and SNES music files, respectively) to mp3 or wav/flac/ape, download the music player Foobar2000 for free, and download the add-on codec "foo_gep", which can both play and convert SPC and NSF. SPC files can be located at www.snesmusic.org. NSF files can be located at www.zophar.net. To decompress a .rsn archive (which SPC batches are typically found in), download Winrar for free, and select that as the program to open them with.
