You ever just kind of go on tilt about something in a game? I think that you can watch me go through the entire tilting process in this stream. I seriously adore many aspects of Phoenix Point, the name still isn't one, seriously, Phoenix Project makes so much more sense, and even if Phoenix Point is a place in the game world we still haven't even heard of it! But anyway, the level up mechanics are interesting, the faction dynamics too, even if trying to please everyone is a massive pain in the ass. But things that I'm not a fan of, the armor mechanics, seriously either all enemy humans need to be stripped for their armor, and probably the pandorans too, or I'm sending my people in to combat wearing cardboard. Second, Launcher arthrons, nough said, just fuck those things.

Third and finally, your difficulty settings are fcuked. this new save is on easy and I'm having more deaths than on normal, I'm not even sure if anything changed save that the game felt comfy throwing three new enemies at me suddenly, Sirens, which I'd seen and are a whole nother kettle of dumb fish, Chrions, some kind of human crab artillery monster, and a Scylla, which is apparently a freaking queen.

Besides my slow descent into tilt I still do supremely recommend this game, its grand while still in need of some balance, work, maybe some polish, and that linux port they were going to do, its is a good game and if you want to pick it up you should maybe do that at our Humble Affiliate link.
