Finally we find a ship. Not only that, we find a second one!

Later, in a bit of a careless FuBar, we get killed by aggressive sentinels on one of those airless planets, where there is almost nothing with which to get restarted. We have lost contact with our ship and cannot seem to be able to call it.

Will we be able to get off the planet and escape? Or will we have to abandon this save and start over?
