These crickets and "mealworms" were all real. Corbin received them as a gift and were supposed to be eaten. The meal worms had Mexican spice to them and the crickets had sour cream and onion. Although Corbin didn't like the taste of the bugs he loved the experience and wants to try more things this way. If you have can stomach it, this is a great way for kids to experience new things.
