Back in the Cloakwood. Crossing over a river to a new part of the forest we met a guy named Tiber who asked us to go looking for his brother. Apparently he went out to end the spider infestation in the this part of Cloakwood after finding a magical sword. Magical sword or not, I have a strong feeling we won't find that guy alive.

The forest indeed is infested. Spiders and net traps are everywhere and finally we found a huge spider nest with a cursed sorceress inside. Since she was not open for diplomacy we had to kill her and her spider guards. This was one of the hardest enemies we have ever faced and we ended up carrying Rasaad and Timber's brother out of the nest. The spider infestation however has been put to an end. We'll return to the Friendly Arm Inn to cure Rasaad and get some rest.

For this Baldur's Gate playthrough I will simulate kind of a hardcore mode and we are going to explore the whole Sword Coast. So expect diving deep into the story and the lore of this world. And since this is the enhanced edition, I plan to incorporate the new characters into my party and follow their story as well!

I am playing a chaotic good Elv Fighter / Mage and as much as possible we are going to stay true to this role.
