Let's Play Goldeneye 007 (N64) - Secret Agent / Story Playthrough

Part #04: Statue Park & Military Archives

After the Severnaya incident, Natalya Simonova has gone missing, and MI6 is closing in on Janus. A meeting has been setup in Statue Park between Bond and an ex-KGB contact, Valentin Zukovsky, a man who claims that Janus wants to meet face to face with 007. Bond meets Janus and discovers his true identity: Alec Trevelyan, who is now the holder of the Goldeneye key. Bond races to save Natalya from an exploding helicopter and recover it's blackbox. Things turn awry when defense minister Dimitri Mishkin and his men capture Natalya and demand that Bond and her come along to Military Intelligence HQ to answer some questions.

The guards ask Bond about the Severnaya incident, and refuse to believe his answer: that Ourumov stole the Goldeneye key. Word comes in that Ourumov has ordered the spy to be killed immediately; Bond has to think fast and escape, again, with Natalya. Oh and Q needs that blackbox as well, so I guess he needs to grab it.

-------------

Goldeneye 007 (1997) on the Nintendo 64, by Rareware, is still one of the best First-Person Shooters ever created and quite possibly one of the best movie-based games ever made. This game's soundtrack was composed by Grant Kirkhope and Graeme Norgate.

This Let's Play is a two-parter: a Secret Agent/Story-focused playthrough followed by a 00 Agent/Completion playthrough.

This footage was captured using a Nintendo 64 (Motherboard Revision 3), modded for RGB and using Sync on Luma, outputting through RGB SCART into an X-RGB Mini Framemeister upscaler, and finally captured with an Elgato Game Capture HD at 720p60.
