08/01 || New Game Train || Grounded
I'm going to be honest folks, I'm not sure why I loved this game so much. Like its fun and this exact type of game is many people's jams. Like it feels like it fits into some kind of weird middle ground in between games like Rust, Subnautica and like Conan Exiles, but in a good way?
Like the crafting is fun and straightforward and makes sense, but then it gets sort of slowed down by the hauling mechanic, which while realistic also feels like busy work for silly things like you can carry 5 planks of grass but most grass blades will drop 6 when chopped and a wall takes 4 so either way you're making two trips for one blade of grass and one wall.
The enemies also felt really hard, and maybe its just because I missed some tech advancement or I'm just shit at the block mechanic, but anything larger than an ant or even small bugs in groups of three of more are suddenly impossible to take on.
But I'm still going to probably keep playing so take that how you will.
You can either get the game on Gamepass, my recommendation, or go pick it up on steam to avoid the window's store.
