2This game is fun, let me say that before I start qualifying that statement, this game is 100% fun. It NEEEEEEDS custom servers so it can be used for proper community stuff for streamers and content creators, without that it's just a battle royale with mini games instead of guns, which is great, but seriously, custom servers. Also maybe a better explained/thought out business model?
Like as it stands now I don't know if this is worth $20 since instead of progression it has 60 some day season pass, and a store that wasn't available in the beta. Maybe I'm just being cynical but my gut reaction is to be afraid they're trying to double dip, or triple dip? Charge a fee to join the live service game, change for subsequent season passes, and then also have a cosmetic's real money store? Maybe not but ehhhh we'll see.
(Oh yeah and we played a few games of Valorant at the end.)
