This is a look at the progress I've made on one of my longer ongoing projects to make my own filing lights.

If you're interested in making one of these your self here is an (affiliated) link to the LED: http://amzn.to/2EJg85y the 20W variant has disappeared though. That's one good reason to over buy! I still have two more of these.

There are a lot cheap 32v power supplies on Amazon. I'm not going to recommend one as "good enough". I'll recommend that if you go for a no-name PSU, get one that is rated for double the current you need. So you don't have to run it close to what it's "max" is if you believe them.

The one part of this design that isn't as flexible as I would like is the LED mount. I'm running screws into the fan blades to secure it. Nothing 3D printed can touch the LED, it gets too hot. So for now I guess this will only work with Intel fans. I'll try and find a way to fix this in future designs.

I have started setting up my Patreon account: https://www.patreon.com/AkBKukU
I'm still working out what all I want on it. I'll have a proper video about this later.
