If you are struggled to decide where should you make your 1st outpost, here is my suggestion. :)

Approx. with 30 mods installed and active right now, plus many ini tweaks. Around like 50 new command lines added already, so with ini/ costume config. file tweaks actually I have already approx. 50 mods active, lol. (Some tweaks have more than 1 c. lines of edits.)

But it was worth to get the game in the shape I really like it now. Especially, visually was a bit of a eyesore because of low res-textures, color tones not for my taste at all, etc. but for example the HUD & inventory can get as well a nice upgrade, which makes the gameplay as well more enjoyable, thanks again for the modding community! :)

For the best color tones I use reshade, PLUS the filters by GeForce Experience, both together.
For the water, the upgrade was possible by adding, molding together 2 water mods actually, but it was worth again to spend approx. 10 mins. with them to make some experiments and get the best result. Ofc., it was only 20 mins. for me, because others made available these awesome mods for us already.

To me, Baldur's Gate 3 is the GOTY 2023 but Starfield is a close 2nd for me, it's definitely grow fast on me, after 50 hrs. of gameplay I really like this new universe, Bethesda built for us! :)))
