John Carpenter started things off with a low-budget horror flick premised around a suburban neighborhood on Halloween, and it went on to become a massive hit. It soon transformed into a bulky franchise and even though the storylines kept contradicting each other, the charm of the psychotic serial killer Michael Myers remained the same. Now that it has been over four decades and we are so deep into the franchise, there are still some burning open-ended questions that have triggered fan debates.
