The Sun is setting, night is falling and the creatures of night are stirring. You're playing Minecraft Rebirth of the night. The Craziest survival challenge in Minecraft, and you're not alone. You've got me, your guide to conquering this brutal mode. Today, we're going over the Essential items you need to survive the night. In ROTN, this is not an ordinary night. You are going to be facing zombies that break blocks, creepers who sprint skeletons who ride into battle shooting arrows only to switch to swords and giants who throw boulders to smash you and it is going to be 20 minutes instead of ten! Your first target to help you is weapons, There are several easy weapons that are strong and provide a lot of benefit. Stone war mallets provide a huge amount of knockback, but take time to kill your enemies and give skeletons space to kill you. A Stone flange mace is also good. It attacks slightly faster, but only half the Knock back. A Stone boomerang will let you hit enemies from a distance without using arrows After your armed
You should find a river that has clay. Clay armor is super easy to get, as it only needs a shovel to harvest and only needs to be fired in a rock furnace, and the plates are easy to craft. You only need 2 clay to craft one plate, so diving in a river to dig the clay is a very easy way to get enough clay to make full clay armor. Once your fully clothed you’ll also need a shield in order to help protect you from those pesky skeletons, a wooden shield is good, but to upgrade to a Stone shield it only takes four rocks. Once you've got your shield you are going to be getting hungry. Food is extremely important and as you're walking throughout the world, you should be trying to just collect whatever you can get. From cows all the way to baby sheep you should be able to find some meats to cook. While you are slaughtering animals you can collect some sticks, rocks, dried fibers, and whatever else you find for crafting while you sit out the night. You don't need a whole lot of food. You can get away with 12 nourishing items to feed yourself throughout the night, especially if you're not moving around and you're just sitting.If you have a hard time finding food you can find fish and eels in rivers that are pretty easy to kill, once you're good on food you should find a base. Establishing your base is the best way you can protect yourself. It's probably best to find a hole with only one entrance for you and mobs. Make sure you don't have any lights on the outside because light attracts zombies, so if you have a Torch outside of your base, zombies will be led straight to your base. Even though they can't spawn inside that Torch area, you are giving them a Beacon to find you. Apart from a cave in the ground, the other good places to settle down are the tops of hills, and never at the bottom of a cliff, because mobs will jump down the cliff and just drop on top of you. In the middle of a big lake is a good spot. You can block out to the middle of it and create a little hut on the surface of the water, and then break the blocks that lead to it. And it gives you a huge moat for easy defense from any mobs. By this time you should have also gathered a plethora of tools and items for crafting so if you are lucky you'll have enough for a wood bucket and some dirt to start a farm that will start you on the path to some long-term food, also you can start farming Hemp, and that'll lead you down the path to a windmill. If you find yourself in possession of some silver you should absolutely craft a saber as sabers absorb damage from mobs.Also silver is extremely strong against undead that'll help you a lot in fighting any mobs that might try to enter your base. After you've survived your first couple of nights, you'll get a message about a horde approaching your base, and this is a huge, huge, huge army of undead. Including giants and spider riding creepers along with all sorts of creepys. Heed my warning, you should not be in your base when this horde approaches, you should find a new defensible location that does not have your nice little home. It might seem odd because you put all that effort into building a house that is probably defensible at night, but the amount of mobs that are coming is so overwhelming that you don't want to lead 'em straight into your base, they're going to mine everything to get to you, and those giants throwing boulders will destroy all of your stuff, so if you don't want that to happen move yourself to somewhere different and make it defensible.
