This PS1 classic was first released in 1995 and would be the start of a legendary series ! Although the game would also be released on the Sega Saturn a year later, no Wipeout games would ever be seen on the Dreamcast.. that is until now ! Some 30 years later, a developer named jnmartin84 has ported the game to the Dreamcast, and it looks and plays better than ever ! The nostalgia further kicks in with soundtracks by Leftfield, The Chemical Brothers, and Orbital !

I did hesitate to include this game in my Dreamcast list, because it was never actually released on that platform, but decided to do it anyway as it shows just how popular the Dreamcast still is after so many years, with a huge fan base and games still being developed and ported over to it ! Another great game that was ported to the Dreamcast recently was Doom 64 ! For some unknown reason, I could not get Wipeout to run on Redream, but it did work fine on another Dreamcast emulator called Flycast.
