Non-spoiler thumbnail used here for now (I might change it later on in the future). And, don't watch this video or read any further below if you don't want spoilers regarding this episode of the Wanderers Campaign.

In this episode, we praise Ellie a bunch.

Man, do I hate the Witch Forest map... So, yeah. Episode 2 here takes place on Witch Forest, a very sloppily-made split map that often just does not want to let you get home. Oh, and one of the events here is Random Warp, usually making things even worse. At least the other event is Charity, but it seems like the enemies brought a bunch of Here and There cards, so yay, even more random warping. Also, Scrambled Eve and Gift Exchange exist too, for yet even more frustration!

As for the opponents themselves... Well, I chose to use Lulu here, so one of them is Ellie, of course. And, the other two are Haunted Doll and Turnislime, the 3-Fame monsters from Bounty Hunters mode. Now, unlike the Heliseeds from episode 1, their passive abilities do have meaning here. Turnislime will reduce your ATK by 1 whenever you battle it (although the ATK reduction is temporary, only lasting for that battle, so don't worry too much), and Haunted Doll will deal a free point of damage to whoever it's battling at the end of combat (assuming neither unit has already been KO'd).

Haunted Doll is of course dangerous to fight, but usually it won't attack you itself (in fact, at one point, it passed by me while I was at 1 HP, and it was at full, so it surely would've ended me there if it did attack). Likewise, Turnislime is pretty passive as well, usually never attacking (although Haunted Doll and Turnislime often will attack each other). However, they do have a decent amount of HP, and Haunted Doll's free damage along with Turnislime's ATK reduction can make them difficult to take down, which is a problem if either of them get way into the lead.

Oh, and since this is Witch Forest, with Random Warp and Here and There everywhere, good luck trying to stay on one of the opponents long enough to defeat it. Maybe it's best to hope for the boss to KO them instead, which can certainly happen. Of course, the boss can easily wreck your face too...

Anyway, this episode took me 2 tries, and both were down to the wire after numerous annoyances throughout the matches. The first time, I just needed a 3 or more to get home to win the game, but there was a Warp right before my home, and of course I rolled a 2. Then Haunted Doll won by rolling exactly onto another player's home before I could get another shot at my home or get lucky with someone else's.

In match 2 (which starts at about 16:53), a similar situation existed at the end of the match, with Turnislime poised to potentially steal the victory from me. But this time, I rolled more than enough to get to my home and take the victory, thankfully.

BTW, if you play this stage as Lulu, you'll obviously have Ellie as an opponent, along with Haunted Doll and Turnislime. However, if you use someone other than Ellie or Lulu, then you'll have both Ellie and Lulu as opponents, along with just Turnislime, meaning Haunted Doll will be absent if you do that, so perhaps that could make things a little easier, if you'd rather not deal with it.
