1000 TSURUS by CARLOS KUBO (Collectible NFTs)

Tsuru (crane) is a sacred bird from Japan. It is the symbol of health, good luck, happiness, longevity, fortune and gratitude. The Japanese legend tells that the tsuru can live up to a thousand years and if the person makes 1000 tsurus using the origami technique - the secular art of folding paper - with the thought turned to a wish it can be realized.
The meaning of tsurus in my series is when they are made we must put all our good wishes and feelings so that we can create a chain of goodness and gratitude.
This philosophy served as inspiration for the realization of this new series where I intend to produce 1000 tsurus through my art because I believe that making tsurus and mainly living their philosophy we are able to change the world!

O tsuru é um pássaro sagrado no Japão. É símbolo de saúde, boa sorte, felicidade, longevidade, fortuna e gratidão. A lenda japonesa conta que o tsuru pode viver até mil anos e se a pessoa fizer 1000 tsurus usando a técnica do origami - a arte secular de dobrar papel - e com o pensamento voltado para um desejo, este será realizado.
O significado dos tsurus na minha arte é: quando são feitos devemos colocar nossos melhores desejos e sentimentos para que possamos criar uma corrente de bondade e de gratidão.
Essa filosofia serviu de inspiração para a realização desta nova série onde pretendo produzir 1000 tsurus através da minha arte pois acredito que fazendo tsurus e principalmente vivenciando a sua filosofia somos capazes de transformar o mundo!
