About the Sims 1 (Console): The Sims 1 (Console) was released in 2003. It was released on Playstation 2, Xbox and Gamecube. It was the first Sims game to have a "Story Mode", which must be played first before being able to play The Sims normally as if you were on PC.
The differences between The Sims (Console) and The Sims on PC is that there is an item limiter, meaning you have a set number of items you can buy before you're unable to purchase anything else. There are also only six careers in the game. Unlike The Sims on PC, you cannot mod The Sims (console), meaning the game can only be played vanilla style.
