About Sonic Generations: Sonic Generations came out in 2011, it's classed as a platform game and was originally released on The Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Windows and Nintendo 3DS. It was released to celebrate Sonic's 20th Birthday. It is also the first game in the franchise to support a stereoscopic 3D gameplay, however on the consoles versins you needed a 3DTV and a pair of 3D glasses.
You play between classic 2D sonic and todays 3D sonic, as you run through levels at high speed in order to save your friends from a dark creature who appears in the first level.
There is a remaster of the game set for release in Autumn 2024, called Sonic X Shadow Generations, where Shadow the Hedgehog is a new playable character.
