The world is still in chaos after the 'Aug Incident' where people, all around the world with augmentations went crazy due to Hugh Darrow's kill switch, proving augs were a threat to humanity. 2 years earlier, we, Adam Jensen had discovered the existance of an organization dedicated to controlling human society through drugs, media and now, augmentations. They call themselves, the Illuminati. With mankind divided and on the brink of an all out war between augs and non augs, we must find the Illuminati and bring them in to the light so the world can finally be free and mankind can no longer be divided. There is danger, conspiracy and corruption around every corner. We will make unlikely alliances and we will have to make decisions that will alter the course of humanity...
