11x11x11 in under 11 minutes (qCube)
This video is in real time, and is a personal best and world record. For a while I've had a little scale of big-cube ability, where you achieve tier N by getting under N minutes on the NxNxN, and by that measure I'm now tier 11 (on keyboard simulators). I have a feeling the next one will be very, very difficult.
According to the ingame move counter, I used 2584 moves, doing 3.94 moves/second. Since there are 596 movable pieces on this puzzle, I took about 1.10 seconds per piece. To give an idea of how fast this is to anyone who doesn't regularly solve the 11x11x11 (haha, who am I kidding, nobody does) this is roughly equivalent to a 3:53 7x7x7 solve (that's better than my real life times!) or a 1:41 5x5x5 solve.
YouTube kept suggesting "piano" and "live music" tags while I was adding tags. Feel free to consider the audio track a groundbreaking piece of minimalist music composition.
