In this video, I demonstrate how I restored a 100+ year-old electrical demonstrator that mechanically converts low-voltage DC into 2-phase and 3-phase AC using a contact wheel and slip rings.
With just 11.5 volts DC input, I’m getting up to 120 volts AC output using a microwave oven transformer connected to the 3-phase side. No semiconductors. No inverters. Just electromechanical timing and raw voltage conversion.
I’ll be sharing test results, efficiency readings, and historical restoration notes. Subscribe to follow this journey as we revive and modernize forgotten energy tech.
