Keeping the Wizarding World a secret from muggles is not always easy, but magical folk definitely have a few tricks up their sleeves to hide away as much of their magic as possible. Throughout the Harry Potter series we learn about secret doors and hidden entrances, like the brick wall passageway to Diagon Alley, or the telephone elevator that takes you down into the Ministry of Magic-- which sure beats flushing yourself down the toilet. Hogwarts is also full of secret doors that lead to Hogsmeade, the Chamber of Secrets and beyond-- Harry uses one of these to get to Honeydukes thanks to the Marauder’s Map, and Draco Malfoy is particularly fond of the Vanishing Cabinets that lead to Knockturn Alley.
