To honor a redeemed Twitch "Community Challenge", I played one of my main speedruns, The Magic of Scheherazade any%, but with emulator settings set to 150% speed! This made some parts of the game a lot easier, in fact, but also made certain things like encounter manips and avoiding random overworld damage more or less impossible. For a game that has quite a bit of "downtime" walking around and in towns and even between worlds, this felt nice. Maybe if someone else wants to do this we could make it into an official speedrun category.
