#18 (1ST EXPANSION) Resident Evil 7: Not A Hero - Operation Lurking Fear
22Resident Evil 7: Not a Hero is a free to play survival horror DLC of the base game. In this game, the story continues from the ending of Re7: biohazard wherein Chris Redfield will scour the underground tunnel in pursuit of and to capture Lucas Baker, the remaining Baker that is alive. Standing in his way are the various traps and monsters the unpredictable Baker prepared for him and all other who stands against him.
This DLC, unlike the base game is faster paced and more action oriented considering that Chris, a veteran in the series, is much stronger, durable and faster than the main protagonist Ethan Winters. In addition, he has stronger weapons at his disposal from the get go. However, the monsters in this game are more and tougher than those in the main game. For being a free to play, this game received favorable reviews considering the length, quality and difficulty the game has. It also introduced new monster albeit aesthetically same with the common monsters in the base game. The only thing this game received criticism is the new character design Chris got through which is far from his classic image in the previous titles. Outside of that, the campaign is really great and enjoyable.
Note: There are moments in the game were cuts will happen. I don’t know why but I think it is a problem within the native video capture card by the PS4. Sony did not provide me with any decent solution so I think I have to live with it. Don’t worry, it did not cut major parts of the story and it is merely short. Although It can be annoying.
