► Gameinformer, the video game magazine and website sent a few of it's employees to Tokyo Japan to sit down and interview members of GameFreak about the upcoming Pokemon Sword and Shield games! Today, the information dropped, giving us SIX exciting articles to read, and lots of exclusive new information! For starters, Pokemon Sword and Shield versions will be the first Pokemon Games to feature 18 (YES eighteen!) gyms for you to challenge. They are seperated into "Major" and "Minor" leagues, depending on which game you play. For example, Pokemon Sword version has you face the gym leader Bea (fighting type leader) as a major leader, while in Pokemon Shield you face the Ghost type gym leader Allister! Other information adressed in these articles included Max Raid Dynamax and Gigantamax battles, the National Dex #bringbacknationaldex, Competitive Pokemon personality values, the EXP share, HMs (hidden machines) and auto saving! Pokemon Sword and Shield are the first main series Pokemon games to feature Auto Saving as a full feature - but don't fear, auto saving can be turned off in the menus to allow you to soft reset for that perfect shiny legendary!
