1849 is a city management simulator, developed by Somasim, that is set during the 1849 Gold Rush period. The game is currently in beta and is looking very promising with a large focus on trading, and using a rather unique house upgrade (and downgrade) system that will have you trying to maintain commodities that you will need to keep everyone happy.

As with all games that are in alpha/beta this is not a representation of the final game, there are many features missing and there will be bugs/glitches, although I have yet to come across anything major.
