Inspiration:
This was the part of my Super Mario Bros. 3 level designing where I mixed things up and started combining themes together and wanting to branch out with the variety of obstacles and enemies and putting them together in new and unique ways. Making an airship mixed with ice based elements and enemies you normally don't see on such levels was a step in that direction. Definitely a favorite level of mine to play through.

My old method of game card capturing stopped at the Playstation 3, XBox 360 and Nintendo Wii era. Any new systems, the capturing device couldn't recognize. So I had to use the 30 seconds at a time video feature built into the Nintendo Switch and record 30 seconds of gameplay at a time, upload all of them to my Facebook page, download them all and then splice them together as best I could. The sound also had to be saved as separate audio files and then linked back together in post to the video. I then recorded voice over the pre-rendered video and added that in and rendered it a second time to get the video you see today. The goal was to show off the level, not to have you see my lack of playing prowess. Haha. ;)
