Inspiration:
Even though I do think a redo would have benefited this level, I am still proud of what I created and I held true to the original idea and intent behind what spawned this course. A brief section revolving around some form of bomb-omb blockades, be it puzzle or otherwise and followed up by a run-or-die dash sequence that seems to be all the rage these days. A lot of polish is still needed on the level, but it is definitely one that is fun to play through at least once, although the dash sequence may take a few tries to get right.
Creation of this video:
My old method of game card capturing stopped at the Playstation 3, XBox 360 and Nintendo Wii era. Any new systems, the capturing device couldn't recognize. So I had to use the 30 seconds at a time video feature built into the Nintendo Switch and record 30 seconds of gameplay at a time, upload all of them to my Facebook page, download them all and then splice them together as best I could. The sound also had to be saved as separate audio files and then linked back together in post to the video. I then recorded voice over the pre-rendered video and added that in and rendered it a second time to get the video you see today. The goal was to show off the level, not to have you see my lack of playing prowess. Haha. ;)
