Inspiration:
A perfectly amazing idea squandered - and all because of a faulty assumption of how a specific gizmo worked. The checkpoint flag only saves your current position in the level and the number of pink coins you collected. That's it. So my grand vision of creating a hub-and-spoke level where you go around collecting four keys and judiciously using a single checkpoint flag to track your progress was ruined. Despite this, there is a lot to find and discover here and might interest those who don't mind a nice, long level with a decent challenge with no checkpoints - like games of old!

My old method of game card capturing stopped at the Playstation 3, XBox 360 and Nintendo Wii era. Any new systems, the capturing device couldn't recognize. So I had to use the 30 seconds at a time video feature built into the Nintendo Switch and record 30 seconds of gameplay at a time, upload all of them to my Facebook page, download them all and then splice them together as best I could. The sound also had to be saved as separate audio files and then linked back together in post to the video. I then recorded voice over the pre-rendered video and added that in and rendered it a second time to get the video you see today. The goal was to show off the level, not to have you see my lack of playing prowess. Haha. ;)
