Michael and I planned to have our second baby 2.5 years after Galahad's birth date. We conceived the first month we were trying to get pregnant with Ziek and my pregnancy symptoms were very intense. I had bad morning sickness and terrible food aversions.
I also discuss the reason why we wanted to have Ziek a little earlier than other people around us were saying to have the second baby. It has to do with how we want our family to be and how we want the kids to play and grow and learn together but it also has to do with my own insecurities of people's judgement and gossip about our family.
