Following on from Capcom's 1943, 1941 - Counter Attack this time is SuperGrafx only, and the conversion is handled by Hudson Soft rather than Naxat. The World War II setting will be instantly familiar with fans of the previous game and gameplay remains similar, with a few little tweaks. You still get a range of weapons, although less varied now, and this time you have the ability to charge up and blast out a super attack which changes according to the firepower you have at the time. Fortunately, this game retains the 'multiple hits before you die' and you will need it as the screen often gets very busy with craft approaching frequently from behind. You certainly can't say there isn't enough to destroy, with background objects including cranes and even cliffs not safe from your hail of bullets.
