Also known as Mercs/Senjou no Ookami II/Senjō no Ōkami II/戦場の狼II/ Wolf of the Battlefield II. This was a pretty fun relaxing game to play after playing a ton of Metal Slug X; not too hard, not too easy but definitely on the easier side once you know the game. Reaching the counterstop relies mostly on not bombing so that you get the bomb bonus at the end of each stage. The bonus will get larger with each stage you amass bombs resulting in the score counterstop. There are also plenty of score milking areas you can use to buffer your score just in case you come up a little short before the end of the game (the bottom of the screen at the forklift caravan works well). I took advantage of this since I timed out the previous boss to be safe. Just be aware that there is a stage timer! Unfortunate skip/framedrop around 17:52 (thanks RE Engine and/or Windows); definitely a nice splice point... Capcom Arcade Stadium default autofire settings used.
