With a beautiful new company logo, Cave sets out to bring a new style of shmup to arcades, and things were never the same again! The original DonPachi may not be anywhere near as intense as later games that would come out in the series, but it laid a strong groundwork for what was to come.


This game has two loops and an extra final boss for the all clear, but I only cleared the first loop, so it is marked as such.
