1CCBBH - 623. Ark Area (2 Loops Clear)
10Another game that's not difficult at all when you get the hang of it. I kinda kept this in my back pocket as an "emergency" 1CC in case I ever had a stream where I was failing at other games, but seeing how I'm doing away with the bi-weekly Monday streams of 1CCBBH I figured it was time to just get this one out of the way.
So, Ark Area. This game kinda plays like a previous game of theirs, Nova 2001, it's a single-screen-ish shmup where you can move and fire in all 8 directions. The control takes a little getting used to as you have to tap the second button to "unlock" your firing direction. A full loop of the game is 23 stages, and then you go to a second loop where absolutely nothing changes in terms of difficulty. Also certain stages made the bizarre decision to never undraw sprites off the screen, which makes the game look... uh... well..... a mess. But I guess that was intentional. The most UPL of UPL decisions.
