Some text files (known as sequential files) which were created in the C64 Commodore Modem and uploaded to Compunet. They were kindly provided by Frank Gasking at gamethatwerent.com, through, of course, Ashley Routledge/David Saunders.
They show a variety of content, inparticular communications on games, reviews of Digital Design Demos, test PETSCII graphics and some interesting chat on coding routines. An historical look into what happened 'behind the scenes' during Ash and Dave's tenure on Compunet.
.seq sequential text files viewing software: WINED - Compunet frame editor for Windows. Version 0.01. By Nicole Thornber. Not sure where to download it now, as the website mentioned in the help file is non-existent.
Download the Ash & Dave asset files from: https://www.gamesthatwerent.com/2015/12/ash-and-dave-assets/
This includes lost demos, these compunet sequence files, Sound Effect Editor and a ton of Ash's graphics (included game test graphics and what appear to be rendered images of them both!)
