My one problem with the story, other than its length, is that you finish the game by sinking the ship that's causing all of the pollution. Which I'm not sure is the most environmentally friendly thing you can do.
It stands in pretty stark contrast with the game's message.
On the other hand... I can't deny that it felt cathartic... and gameplay mechanics wise it makes sense.
