11I've buried the trading features of this game before, because commodities, and making a high profit off of them, is kinda rough. Changing market conditions, limited information, and tariffs all conspire to make it so if you try to buy low and sell high, you'll barely break even... if at all.
Unless you're hauling food. With so many factions and an interweaving network of alliances and wars, piracy, marauding Templar death-fleets, and more worlds in general, there's so many hungry people out there that need food.
And there's significant money in giving the people what they need.
Looking back, this is a faster way to make dank bank then, say, hunting high-risk bounties. We'll get to the combat part of the game ,but wow.
