The flexible Tuf-Line rubber hoses that thread on at the floor to cpvc and ran 30 inches up to the old Indonesia valves well all that had to go. I used quarter turn ball valves so as I can keep my washing machine water shut off when not in use. I learned years ago to keep it unplugged as well because lightening destroyed the cycle timer components and I had to spend $134 and figure out how to replace it simply because it was plugged in while I was not at home during a storm. Keep your shutoff valves off and machine unplugged when not in use because could save you a lot of time and money.
