200 deaths in the pit. Take one down, pass em around and then die on the final boss again and redo the whole level, at least that's what happens here. I'm sad to say that I do end up resorting to save states after getting too frustrated about getting sent back, but I pretty much perfect the level, so I think it's okay enough. This was such a hard game even with the Japanese difficulty, so I don't recommend it as much as the other two Ninja Gaiden games, but if you can master it, it can be fun.
