I started to jam around with the amazing @AURAPlugins update of their Access Virus-editor and immediately got this hypnotic trancy bassline-sound. So I had to switch on the camera, the rest was improvised!
After that I'm heading over to my Clavia Nordlead A1, twisting the knobs as to put out the typical off beat 4/4 Cosmic Gate & Scooter-style deep bassline 😎
But IMHO the final essential ingredient is the Roland JP8000 arpegiated trance-line. Fun fact: The played rythm is a pattern on the Virus B, that I recored as MIDI, years ago.
