2000s Retro Games: Chrome Specforce (Part 22)
Hey there Conrads, it's part 22. I finally succeeded in getting through the worst possible part of any game in the early 2000s, an escort mission.
Chrome: Specforce is a retro game. I have died many times to bring you this information. Each day I think back to my time on the planet estrella, and I wonder why I went to all this effort just to get off the planet estrella.
This game was released in 2004ish, and is tied to the russian "Chrome" video game series.
The game mostly revolves around a series of firefights and missions featuring Logan, a guy who is in the Specforce. Unique to this game was the use of a super-powered suit of combat armor, with 4 abilities, that can be used to make the fighting easier.
It is considered abandonware, and it works fine in linux, although the resolution is weird for modern monitors.
