My notes on how to deploy 2004Scape Server, all-upstream code, and ran with the latest tools on FreeBSD 14.2. This is singleplayer RuneScape, on one of the coolest operating systems around!
This video presents the desktop launcher functionality, including save back-ups and server starting/updating.
The OS is FreeBSD, with Xfce desktop environment. The theme is Chicago95 (Windows 95 style). Running on a Dell Latitude 5591 laptop. The theme and set-up also works on Fedora 42 Beta Xfce!
