2019 was a crazy year for this channel. I've developed my style so much that I can consistently reproduce it, and it will sound nice. And, I've gotten better at guitar so much. And throughout it all, I've maintained relative consistency with regards to uploads. I've uploaded thirty times on Sundays at 2 P.M. PST since April of this year.
And, with a new year and decade closing in on us, I've got a lot planned for said decade. I'll be working hard to make sure my sound is improving and is more and more listenable for all of you who watch my videos. This includes my drums, which I've just upgraded to Superior Drummer 3. I'm working on a demo for those drums, since it would be nice to hear what you guys have to say about them, as well as, just play around with the program.
On top of that, I will be changing my second lead guitars from being my C-1 Apocalypse to my LTD MH-350, or swapping them sometimes. I've got two lead guitars now, so that makes finding camera angles easier, plus, experimenting with new tones for said guitar.
I've got a lot coming for next year and beyond, I'm already working on getting my Twitch set up working so I can live stream drum production, and maybe filming my recording process if I can figure that out. I'm also thinking of getting a studio set up so I can record properly, instead of out of my kitchen, like I have been for the last eight months.
There may also be WAY more medleys since I'm going to be trying to challenge myself this year. It'll be more fun to play multiple songs, and that will increase my watch time on my videos. But that's all the super exciting stuff I have coming next year, keep an eye out for it.
And, of course, thank you to those who stuck with me all year. It means a lot to know that so many of you love this kind of music the same way I do. I'll see you all in the new year :)
