the new Macan Turbo is powered by a new 2.9-litre bi-turbo V6 shared with the larger Cayenne SUV and Panamera sedan, which develops 324kW and 550Nm – up 30kW on its predecessor – with peak torque available from 1800 to 5600rpm.

Porsche says the new motor makes 10 per cent more power than the outgoing model's 3.6-litre turbocharged unit with 20 per cent less displacement.
