Tournament has defined dates, place and ranking; this year's edition takes place for the third time in Morocco, after 2013 and 2014

In yet another opportunity to compete in the Club World Cup, Flamengo will be another Brazilian trying to win the competition after Corinthians, in 2012, the last in the country to win the tournament. In the 2022 edition, the games will take place from February 1 to 11, in Morocco.

As in the other years of the World Cup, the tournament will maintain the same style of classifieds and games: there will be seven teams, including the Libertadores champion, Flamengo, and the Champions League, Real Madrid. For the coming years, Fifa, organizer of the competition, intends to change the format to include more clubs in the competition. But what is the prize for the winner still in the current model? In total, the champion receives 5 million dollars (R$ 26.57 million, at current prices) for the title.

In addition to the cash value, of course, the winners receive the trophy and medals of champions of the edition. It is worth mentioning that those positioned below the first place are also rewarded for their performance. See how much each team receives according to their position in the World Cup:

Champion: 5 million dollars (R$ 26.57 million), in addition to the first place medal and trophy;
Runner-up: 4 million dollars (R$ 21.25 million), in addition to the second-place medal;
Third place: 2.5 million dollars (R$ 13.28 million), in addition to the third place medal;
Fourth place: 2 million dollars (R$ 10.63 million);
Fifth place: 1.5 million dollars (R$ 7.97 million);
Sixth place: 1 million dollars (R$ 5.31 million);
Seventh glued: 500 thousand dollars (R$ 2.65 million).
And, to get there, all the teams already have a defined path, according to a draw carried out by Fifa on January 13th.
