And that game of course, is Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3. You see..originally, DBZ Budokai 3 had intended to have a NEW STORY Scenario with Super Buu and Kid Buu. And in these scenarios, both would have Dragon Universes and defeat their opponents.

The twist? Probably the fact that you could even fight off against Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Super Gogeta. You see, there are two scenarios
Scenario 1: Super Saiyan 4 Goku fights Super Buu W/Gohan Absorbed
Scenario 2: Goku Transforms into a Super Saiyan 4 against Kid Buu

In the 2nd Scenario, Vegeta wishes for Goku to get back his tail. And him looking at the moon allows Goku to transform.

Alternatively, you would have also faced off against Super Gogeta.
