Overview:
If you're looking for a vehicle that combines off-road capability, luxury accommodations and a high-end image, something from Land Rover's premium Range Rover lineup should do just fine. But if your budget is a little less flexible, the 2023 Range Rover Sport is an almost equally satisfying alternative. Despite its smaller size, the Sport has a similar silhouette to the more expensive Range Rover - but with an added dose of attitude. Triple powertrains including hybrid inline-six, plug-in hybrid inline-six and mega-powered twin-turbo V-8 give you a wide variety of options. The cabin is top-notch and equipped with desirable technology, including Land Rover's latest Pivi Pro infotainment system and driver assistance features that assist in driving both on and off-road. But all this prestige doesn't come cheap, and Range Rover Sport's starting price is higher than other luxury SUVs like the BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE class and Volvo XC90. But without a doubt, the Sport is earning its place in the Range Rover lineup honestly and for a number of reasons, most importantly: It looks like money.
Like the larger Range Rover, the mid-size Range Rover Sport has been completely redesigned, featuring new styling, a refreshed cabin and cutting-edge technology. An all-electric Range Rover Sport EV will hit the market next year as a 2024 model.
